Repainted red in probably not original Corvette red. Used original factory hood for 1956 and 1957 Corvettes, in very good condition. Per Chevrolet service parts book this hood also fits 1953, 1954, 1955 Corvettes, but has 2 winds splits raised longitudinal bumps not present on earlier hoods.

Stored as a spare since no damage on external surface a few chips on perimeter that are easily repaired.
